Our main goal at Faqt is to keep your knowledge organized in a simple and elegant manner. Over the last month, we’ve heard from many of you that you want the ability to tag or organize your faqts into a variety of categories.
Today, we are happy to announce Collections, a brand new way to organize your faqts. It’s a simple but powerful way to keep everything organized and accessible in a flat and transparent way.

One of the things we’ve tried to avoid is to fall back on the typical hierarchy of folders and relationships to organizing our data. We’ve done this with other apps, and have found it usually devolves into not only a mess, but an opaque and hidden one. A flat and shallow view has so far served us well, although with large enough sets it starts to run into it’s own challenges that we’re still thinking about. Collections is a first (and powerful) step towards a solution we hope you’ll find complements your workflow instead of fighting against it.
